Parsio alternatives in 2026
The best Parsio alternatives are ExtractFox for PDFs, scans and photos with no setup and per-file pricing ($9/month for 100 files, or $5 once for 50), Airparser for LLM parsing of emails and documents at one credit a page ($33/month billed yearly for 100 credits), Parseur for email parsing with integrations ($49/month for 100 pages), Docparser for rule-based parsers where a credit covers a document of up to 5 pages ($39/month for 100), and Mailparser for text emails ($29.95/month for 250). Parsio's own default GPT parser uses 2 credits a page, so its $29 Starter plan covers about 50 pages a month.

What Parsio does
Parsio parses emails, PDFs and images with four engines: a GPT parser set up with a prompt (2 credits a page, the default), pre-trained AI models for 15+ document types (3 credits), templates and an OCR converter (1 credit each). Data goes to Excel, CSV, JSON, Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, n8n, webhooks or the API. The free Sandbox has 30 credits a month; Starter is $29 a month for 100 credits ($290 a year) and $49 for 1,000. Unused credits expire at the end of each billing period.
The alternatives
1. ExtractFox
A browser tool and REST API that reads PDFs, scans and photos with a multimodal model and returns a table you can download as Excel, CSV or JSON. There are no templates or parsers to set up, and an extraction counts per file, not per page. It doesn't parse email inboxes and has no Zapier, Make or webhook connectors yet.
Best for: PDFs, scans and photos to Excel, CSV or JSON without templates
2. Airparser
An LLM document and email parser from the team behind Parsio. Every page costs one credit whatever the engine, which makes it cheaper than Parsio's GPT parser per page; Growth is $49 a month billed yearly for 500 credits. Unused credits expire each billing period.
Best for: LLM parsing of emails and attachments with Zapier, Make, n8n or webhooks
3. Parseur
The most established email parser in this list, with mailboxes, an AI engine and templates, and integrations including Power Automate. It costs more than Parsio for the same volume: $49 a month for 100 pages, $89 for 300.
Best for: Emails and PDFs into Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, Power Automate or webhooks
4. Docparser
A rule-based parser: you build a parser per layout with zone, anchor-keyword and table rules. A credit covers a document of up to 5 pages, so multi-page files cost less than with per-page credits.
Best for: Recurring layouts you tune once, with Zapier and webhooks
5. Mailparser
Built for parsing email bodies into fields, with 20 inboxes on Starter. It is the cheapest per email here, but it isn't meant for scanned documents or photos.
Best for: Order, lead and notification emails with text bodies
When to stay with Parsio
Stay with Parsio if your documents arrive by email and must be parsed without anyone opening them, you rely on its Google Sheets, Zapier, Make or n8n integrations, or your layouts are fixed, where its template parser at one credit a page is hard to beat on price.
Questions people ask
Cheap alternative to docparser or parseur for pdf data extraction
Parsio is the usual answer ($29/month for 100 credits, 2 credits per page with its GPT parser). ExtractFox is cheaper to start: two extractions free without an account, 5 a month free with one, then $9 a month for 100 files of any page count or $5 once for 50 credits that don't expire. Prices checked on each pricing page on October 10, 2026.
Free ai tool to extract invoice data from pdf to csv
ExtractFox's invoice extractor reads vendor, dates, line items, tax and totals from PDFs, scans and photos and downloads them as CSV, Excel or JSON. Two extractions need no account and a free account gets 5 a month. Parsio's free Sandbox gives 30 credits a month, about 15 invoice pages with its GPT parser, after signing up.
Pdf data extraction api pay as you go
ExtractFox's REST API comes with every paid plan, and a one-time pack of 50 extractions for $5 is the closest to pay-as-you-go; pack credits never expire. Parsio and Airparser sell monthly credit plans whose unused credits expire at the end of each billing period.
Parseur alternatives
Parsio is the closest like-for-like replacement for Parseur's email parsing. For uploaded PDFs, scans and photos, ExtractFox costs less: per file, not per page, from $9/month or $5 once. The full list is on the Parseur alternatives page.
Is ExtractFox cheaper than Parsio?
For uploaded PDFs, yes: ExtractFox Starter is $9 a month for 100 files of any length, while Parsio Starter is $29 a month for 100 credits, about 50 pages with its default GPT parser. For fixed-layout emails parsed with Parsio's template parser (1 credit a page), Parsio can work out cheaper and does things ExtractFox doesn't, like inbox parsing.
