Parseur alternatives in 2026

The best Parseur alternatives are ExtractFox for PDFs, scans and photos with no setup ($9/month for 100 files, or $5 once for 50), Parsio for parsing emails and documents more cheaply ($24/month billed yearly for 100 credits), Docparser for rule-based parsers with Zapier ($39/month for 100 documents of up to 5 pages), and Mailparser for parsing text emails ($29.95/month for 250 emails). Parseur starts at $49/month for 100 pages, so on PDFs longer than one page, a per-file or per-document plan works out cheaper.

What Parseur does

Parseur parses emails, PDFs and spreadsheets with an AI engine or templates and sends the data to Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, Power Automate or a webhook. The free plan is 20 pages a month; paid plans start at $49 a month for 100 pages (Micro) and $89 for 300 (Mini). It counts every PDF page as a credit, so a three-page invoice uses three, and unused credits expire each billing period.

The alternatives

1. ExtractFox

A browser tool and REST API that reads PDFs, scans and photos with a multimodal model and returns a table you can download as Excel, CSV or JSON. There are no templates or parsers to set up, and an extraction counts per file, not per page. It doesn't parse email inboxes and has no Zapier, Make or webhook connectors yet.

Best for: PDFs, scans and photos to Excel, CSV or JSON without templates

2. Parsio

The closest like-for-like Parseur replacement: mailboxes, AI, GPT and template parsers, and Zapier, Make, n8n and webhooks. The AI parser uses 3 credits a page, so 100 credits cover about 33 pages with it, or 100 with templates.

Best for: Emails and documents into Google Sheets, Zapier, Make or n8n

3. Docparser

A rule-based parser: you create a parser per document layout and set zone, anchor-keyword and table rules. A credit covers a document of up to 5 pages, which is generous for multi-page files. Professional is $74 a month for 250 documents.

Best for: Recurring layouts you tune once, with Zapier and webhooks

4. Mailparser

Built for parsing email bodies and text attachments. Its own FAQ says it does not support images or scanned documents, so it can't replace Parseur for scanned invoices or photos.

Best for: Order, lead and notification emails with text bodies

5. Nanonets

A workflow builder where each block (formatting, classification, extraction) bills per run. Nanonets puts a typical invoice at 4 to 6 blocks, under $2 an invoice. Growth and Enterprise prices are by quote.

Best for: Multi-step document workflows: classify, extract, validate, route

When to stay with Parseur

Stay with Parseur if most of what you parse arrives as email bodies, you rely on its mailboxes and integrations (Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, Power Automate, webhooks), or your documents are single pages, where per-page credits cost the same as per-file ones.

Questions people ask

Parseur alternatives

ExtractFox (PDFs, scans and photos to Excel, CSV or JSON with no setup, from $9/month or $5 once), Parsio (emails and documents, from $24/month billed yearly), Docparser (rule-based parsers with Zapier, from $39/month) and Mailparser (text emails, from $29.95/month). Nanonets fits if you need a multi-step workflow rather than one extraction. Prices checked on each pricing page on October 9, 2026.

Cheap alternative to docparser or parseur for pdf data extraction

ExtractFox is the cheapest to start: two extractions free with no account, 5 a month free with one, then $9 a month for 100 files or $5 once for 50 credits that don't expire. One extraction is one file regardless of page count. Parseur starts at $49/month for 100 pages and Docparser at $39/month for 100 documents of up to 5 pages; Parsio's cheapest paid plan is $24/month billed yearly for 100 credits.

Free ai tool to extract invoice data from pdf to csv

ExtractFox's invoice extractor reads vendor, dates, line items, tax and totals from invoice PDFs, scans and photos and downloads them as CSV, Excel or JSON. Two extractions need no account and a free account gets 5 a month. Parseur's free plan gives 20 pages a month and Parsio's 30 credits, both after signing up.

Pdf data extraction api pay as you go

ExtractFox has no per-call metering: the REST API comes with every paid plan, and a one-time pack of 50 extractions for $5 is the closest to pay-as-you-go. Its credits don't expire. Parseur and Parsio sell monthly credit plans whose unused credits expire; Nanonets bills per block run ($0.02 to $0.30).

Does ExtractFox parse emails like Parseur?

No. ExtractFox reads files (PDF, PNG, JPG, WEBP, HEIC), web pages and pasted text; it has no inbox to forward emails to. If email parsing is the job, Parsio or Mailparser are closer replacements.
